Marcelle Voomz Harlow, also known as simply VOOMZ, is a Los Angeles based DJ/artist/composer sought after for her in-depth musical knowledge and colorful, energetic mixes unrestricted by genre or era.

Starting off as a singer/songwriter at a piano or with a guitar in tow, she taught herself Pro Tools (and now Ableton) and started producing her own music. Already a fanatical collector of vintage records, DJing naturally followed after her first EP of orginal music landed on URB’s next list.

While recording in NYC, she began DJing alongside long-time pal DJ Mia Moretti and created remixes for Peaches, Katy Perry, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, and Notorious B.I.G. that led to several residencies when she returned west. Garnering praise from both club-goers and industry professionals, she is now specifically requested for fashion shows, international festivals, and high profile celebrity events as both a DJ and a performing artist.

This summer Marcelle opened at the Genius Loci Festival in Baja, Mexico and DJ’d KCRW Radio’s “First Fridays” event along with Anne Litt and before performances by Wild Belle and Gabriel Garzón-Montano. In the past year and previous, Marcelle rejoined Mia Moretti and many other high profile DJ’s for the 2nd year in a row at the MIA MORETTI x MAC COSMETICS launch party at the Coachella Festival in Palm Springs, CA. Marcelle has also been featured at the hugely successful Sunset Strip Music Festival and 2nd Annual Hudson Block Party, opened for Posso, and performed with her band at the Moheak Radio LAxLA Festival. She is also known to make guest appearances playing keyboards in the band Viva Modula and with Sexy Jesus.

When Marcelle is not out spinning or performing music, she is creating it. Currently, she is in the studio between sets recording a 2nd release LA FAIM D’EVE as well as composing for several film/tv projects.
